SRUtil is the solution for SunRay thin client mobility

The Problem

Among thin clients, SunRays have one unique differentiation - their ability to seamlessly move a running session from one DTU to another. This session mobility has helped SunRays gain market share and enabled its deployment in many environments from health care to call centers.
This mobility however also has disadvantages. Several Windows based software packages require the location of the desktop to function correctly. Printing, access restrictions and file server shares can all be location dependent.

The solution

The SRUtil package significantly improves the functionality of the standard SunRay installation by providing notifications on windows about location changes. SRUtil can change printers and printer settings or start a script to do custom work to reconfigure running applications.
